A-pad, e-pad or i-pad?

Lately there has been a sudden frenzy on the "I-pad", but because it's so expensive, i don't think i would buy one.. The clones - Apad or Epad - are much cheaper and some almost have the same features as the original one.. Now i am planning to - hopefully - get one since it would be more convenient to bring anywhere instead of a laptop...but i am still having second thoughts.. Any suggestions?
