problem with firefox!

Hi alls, i love using firefox however since a week ago i cannot used it. I tried to reinstall it but still not working, what could be the problem? please suggest something to me to get it back. The computer's shop charge $12 to fix it. Thanks

With Windows Explorer, go to c:\Documents and settings.
If you can see hidden files and folders -- it is an option on the View tab --, in the Local Settings folder, open the Mozilla folder and rename the Firefox folder to whatever you want (don't delete it). Do the same in the Application Data folder.
Reinstall Firefox and then restore your bookmarks by moving them from your two renamed folders to the newly created Firefox folder.
