Love the original V.C. Andrews!

The original V.C. Andrews wrote My Sweet Audrina, the Flowers in the Attic series and most of the Heaven series. Then she died, and a ghost writer took over. Since then the books have not been the same. They are still well written, good, but really not the same. Andrews had an unbelievable gift with words. I have read and re-read these series over the years, am again re-reading Flowers in the Attic. Altho I know what is going to happen, I am still enthralled with those poetic words. I wonder if I am the only one who feels this way with those books, and the author?
