Is mylot desperate to sell the fill - in information to Marketing companies?

Today, I sign up with mylot, the first page it brought me into is those advertising pages, which they want me to fill out the information if I am interest in certain products. I skip all of them, because they are useless. I understood if I fill in those form, they will be sent to those marketing companies as sales lead. Then those marketing firms sell them to marketing department of those product companies. I just wonder is mylot start a new earning tactics since they already build up huge members base online. We can be the earning target.

I have no problem they are trying to make more money. Because what we made from mylot also from those companies too. Mylot taking the bigger slice, we all individuals taking a tiny slice only. Nothing wrong with it. I just want to let everyone know about this tactics.

Even I got all these screens and had to force close the browser. I did not feel good about it and though may be I hit the wrong URL but it was MyLot. I feel MyLot is taking unwanted advantage of membership. If they want us to go through all these surveys, let's make it part of MyLot and pay for that.
