My gratitude to my co-mylotters. I learned from you the Helium site. Then I write poems for them and earned nothing, but I learned avout their poetry writing contest so I joined. Some of my poems are within the top ten. There are only 3 winners so I am hoping that I will win. I don't know how they select the winners. But if I will not win I will still be happy because I was able to publish my poems. I really love to write poems. I also want to learn ways on how to earn from my poems.

Good for you angelic123 you found some place to express your passion. There are a lot of sites that you can join that accept poets. Good luck with the contest.

That's nice to hear. Every writer wants recognition; I understand how you feel. The fact that your article was chosen as part of the top 10, it's already very rewarding. Keep up the good work. I hope you enjoy writing for helium. I am also interested in writing for them, but not now. I am still establishing my works in factoidz, bukisa, and triond. It's hard to maintain too many sites. If I'm able to earn good sum of money from these sites then I could probably start exploring other venues.

You will not likely earn much from poetry. There are lots of people who like to write poetry, but few who like to read it, so the money to be had is little. You will earn much more if you try writing the articles on Helium. Good luck!!
