Has anyone ever had trouble with Sirius radio charging you for services you didn't even ask for? Here is what happened to me: I am leased a new car a couple of years ago and it came with a one year subscription to Sirius satellite radio. When the subscription was about to run out, I was notified and I decided to renew the service for another year. This year, however, when my service was about to run out, I got a single pink sheet of paper sent to me that said my subscription was about to run out. There was no number to call if I wanted to renew, no price for how much it would be to renew, no instructions about what to do to renew or not. I thought it was strange, but I knew that this year, I had better things to spend my money on, so I let the subscription run out and have been happily using my regular radio. A few weeks ago, I got a letter from a collection agency stating that Sirius was trying to collect $38.00 from me for unpaid satellite radio service! I was shocked! Last year when I renewed, I knew how much the subscription was and sent a check. This year, I wasn't going to renew, but even if I wanted to, I wouldn't have known how much it was. I think that is a pretty underhanded way to get customers. I don't know what to do. What do you all think? Have any of you had the same experience?
