The Ongoing Purge of Spam Blogs By Blogger.com, Is It Effective?

I still see a lot of spam blogs in traffic exchanges hosted in blogger.com. Real spam blogs, no good content like text paragraphs explaining something, just plain referral links and referral banners. I thought blogger.com has already launched a crackdown against these spam blogs, why is it they still exist? Looks like after defending they are not spammers, blogger.com mercifully reinstated their existence...

I guess they're just too many for blogger.com to remove all of them in a short period of time.

And aside from they are too many of them, while they are busy removing the existing ones, new spam blogs are being added daily? They should put a system where spam bloggers will have a hard time securing a new blog.

That's quite easy. They could set it so that if someone posts more then two links in any given post for the first five posts it will automatically delete the blog. That cuts down about 90%. Then the "stragglers" or the "smarties" will be much easier to pick out and hatchet their blog "stem" to the internet.

Well i have seen some traffic exchanges banning blogspot sites entirely. And this is just sad.

Oh, really? May I know what are those traffic exchanges that ban blogspot sites?

If one's blog is a spam, blogger first warns and then, removes the spam blog.
