Halloween Pumpkin Ideas

I wanted to do something different this year, as no one seems to want to carve the pumpkin and dig out the guts. We made three. Two we painted, one was carved and fresh flowers added to it. The other painted one got googly eyes glued to it. The third one actually has zoo animals all over it. I bought the zoo stick ons at Walmart. We homeschool and my first grader is learning about various types of animals and zoo animals was one. We were going to make a lapbook but I thought we will make a zoo pumpkin instead. What ideas do you have for creative pumpkins?

how bout burning it? or making it edible like coating it with sugar or chocolate =)

My son is the only one in my family that will eat any kind of pumpkin anything, so it isn't really worth the work.
