Hymn tune needed

At Sunday School in the 50's and 60's we used to sing 'A workman in a village home, He toiled for daily bread...' I've got the words but cannot find the right tune. Please can anyone help? It's an 8-6, 8-6, 8-6 metre, but none I have are right!
