Reading Long Story

Reading long story is really boring when you don't like the ideas on it. I am not use reading a long story even I love the story as long it is spend a lot of time to read I feel boring. I prefered to read short story only because you already finish after 15-20 min. and you can get main idea on it.
How about you mylotters do you like reading long story?

I love reading long stories when the introduction is very interesting. A writer should be able to catch the readers attention from the first words that she writes so the reader won't seem to find the story boring even after reading the first paragraph only.
