Women are bigger spender than men, do you agree on this?

Here is my take on this. Men are visual creatures, a very large part of their attraction to a woman is the way the woman looks. This is somewhat known to women so they do their best to look good and one of the things to do that is through cosmetics and fashion. This is the sad truth, a woman that looks good is more likely to attract a potential husband.

I beg to disagree. that depends upon the type of a person per se, either man or woman. Women in general, may or may not spend more than men do.Some women are using accessories and make ups while others don't. They can live without even a lipstick.Others are not fond of shoes, too but are comfortable wearing just shirts and jeans. While some men may or may not spend more than women do. They also need to accessorize and have to take care of their skins (metromen especially). Soe men are not content with just three pairs of footwear, some of them wants to collect branded shoes. I personally knew a man who seems to spend more than I do even if we are given the same purchasing power. He is my husband. :). I hardly buy personal things for myself but spend all my money for food and the house. While my husband would buy expensive shoes whenever he like it . Or clothes or pants or just everything. I believe, it boils down to the type of a person really. :)

It is certainly true in my family. My sister would spend many many more times than I would. I have been advising her not to buy things unless it is a real necessity, but she just would not take my advice. I have two coats, and she has more than ten. And, the balance in her credit card is rising at an amazing rate every month.

Sometimes they do, but men also spend so much especially if they are into cars. whoa!! They spend 100k for mags alone. Not to mention, racing seats, stereo's audio equipments etc.

We have a lot of desire on everything most likely the girls, The girls are more fashion than man. On the other side think of this, we girls do have a plenty of bags, shoes, and other materials, but don't you think that your brother's pants is more expensive than your pants? If you notice men's apparel are more expensive than ours.

This is totally true! They also spend hell lots of money on make ups, hair styling, hair products, skin creams and the list goes on and on. Then accessories like bracelet, necklace, pendants, piercings and many more.

sure they might not buy clothes or shoes or purses but they buy electronic gadgets and tools which also cost a lot so they spend a lot of cash too.

You are partly right, women spends more than men. Simply because we want to be fashionable, look good and feel good. we are not contented with just a pair of shoes or 1 bag or a few blouses. If we only have a few choices, we feel that we have none. But...we really do collect a lot, however their not that expensive. Our shoes are a lot cheaper as compared to a men's shoes. When it comes to looking good or make ups, we spend on cosmetics to look good and we have to choose a good make that doesnt damage our skin(and these are quite expensive). For clothes or dresses, every month a new trend arrives, and I guess every woman doesnt want to look granny or old fashioned.

Not necessarily. While it is true that most women like clothes etc. more than most men, men buy other things, that are often more expensive, such as stereos, cars, gym equipment etc. And in my family, I spend way less than my fiancee!

Yes, you can see the shoes etc. but some men buy cars and other luxury items that will make your eyes pop. It depends on how well you can hide it from anyone. I really can't tell who is the bigger spender of the two. Probably on equal terms.

Hahaha! Well, if you count item per item, it seems that women spend a lot more than men do.. But, if you would dig deeply, if you would consider the price of the item, I think men's shoes, wardrobe, etc. are a lot expensive than women.. So, if women have 5 shoes, it would only be equivalent to men's only shoes.. I think women are fond of variety at cheaper prices, while men like identity with an expensive personal belongings..

I guess because men spoil their women by giving them money to buy what they want to buy. Next is, men don't always shop. But there are those who can afford tobuy luxuries such as yacht, cars, houses, planes, so there are instances that men spend more than women do.
