Does workaholic person have a heart?

I know this type of question is really wired. But last evening on a discussion with Mom, Dad and Wife suddenly this topic raised and whole family accused me of being workaholic and a person with no heart.
Every time I tried to make them understand all these I am doing is for our future. But I failed.
What you think does workaholic persons have heart?
What I feel some workaholic person always have some thoughts in their mind. Thats why it may feel to others that workaholic persons does not have heart.
Give me your thoughts.

Yes, even a workaholic has a heart. It depends on what is the reason for being one. If it is to contribute more for the family's needs but it is an obsession which makes your family feel as if they are no longer a part of your life then it is time to create a balance. Proper time management.

yes they have a heart. A workaholic person have a heart because they work for their future. We cannot judge a workaholic person that they don't have a heart, they love their work for them to survive.

i believe so.
i wouldn't too much consider myself a workaholic
but
my family and friends says that i am.
i'll work 14-16 hours shifts when scheduled to do so
and is ok with it.
i'm young, at this moment its ok for me to do that.
apart from working outside of home, i work a lot online.
i still have time to study, and have fun with family and friends
so yes a workaholic person does still have a heart.

of course even if your workaholic person you still have a heart, even if you cant spend your time to your family because you almost spend your time with your work not in your family but it is for their own good so that you can earn money.

Yes of course even workaholic person have a heart. Let me explain if you are a person of course you have a heart because if a person doesn't have a heart how can she/he breath well. Hoping you will understand because that question is not wired but that question is such a O.A. question.

I agree with you, no persons does not have heart. I think they just say that for you to be sensitive enough to feel that your family also needs your time. Being workaholic is never a problem but be sure that you can give some ample time to your love ones.

Yes they do, it's not in the right direction. My mother was and still is a workaholic, but the reason for it is because she feels good when she is at work. She doesn't have to worry about the bad things. Work is like a safe haven for her.

i say yes. i am workaholic my friend. i dont know but i just love stress in life. i love to always do something. one real work as in something that makes me energetic, and productive. i like having deadlines and working hard. but i have a heart and i make sure i do not forget to spend quality time with my love ones.
