the bible for me is not just a book, but it's a library because there are lots of books on it. what is your favorite bible verse or the bible verse of the day?

I have to admit I haven't read the bible enough to actually have a favourite verse. I've tried to read it a few times, but mann that's one long book. :-/
Any tips how to get through it?
