laptops or desktops your pick?

This is probably the most controversial topic in computer world. Laptops or desktop. It is true all the friends here in mylot use either of them or both. But the matter of fact is somebody like desktop and other like laptops for a few obvious reason. What's your choice and why please share with me.

laptop!! personal and easy to take it anywhere with me.

Today the laptop is not as expensive as in the past. Laptop has many advantages than the desktop. Such as the laptop is much more portable and you can use it anywhere. It won't use up more of your room like the desktop. And they also consume less electricity than the desktops. So if I will buy a new computer again, I will only choose to buy a laptop.

I'd prefer laptop, as it's more convenient for me to bring it wherever I want. I usually carry my company laptop with me most of the time, so I can also use it when I'm in the shopping centre or at home. Also, sometimes I can just use it in the living room, in my bedroom or even on my bed. I just think it's really portable. Most of the time I use my laptop for surfing net and programming, so the performance for laptop is enough for me. Also, I think nowadays laptop's performance is good enough for some games, such as RPG games that I like to play sometimes.

I'd definitely pick desktop over laptop anyday. My primary reason is it is easier to upgrade and easier to fix too. I'm usually a little particular on the specs of my computer so desktop is right for me. And besides I prefer using computer at home so laptop is really not necessary for me.
