What if parents will guide you wrong way

Our parents usually guide us as we grow. The present you is made by the parents' behavior, discipline, and love. it is said that no one knows what best for you except your parents. your parents will decide what will be your stance in the most important decision making. Sometimes there are parents decide who will be your partner in life. Sometimes parents will decide the things that we don't like. There are parents teaching their children to do bad things in order to live. They give instructions and tips how to do such bad things to others even if they know that they may hurt their children and others by doing so. Why are these parents guiding their children the wrong way?

Nobody's Perfect! So I guess we should not blame them. Mother's knows best!

This is true,parents who thinks that they owned their kids like a possession.
So,parent thinks that their kids must and should follow them always even if it can lead their kids to bad things.
Kids are not parents thing to own,kids must be loved and cared for.
I wonder why some parents act like that,as if they knows everything what is good for their kids,and don't even listen or consider what their kids feel.
In that case,parents who treat their kids that way,the moment the kids had a family of their own,also treat their kids the way their parents treated them before.(not everyone,but mosts,that is called emotional abused)
