Is it hard to sell house in your city or area?

It is extremely difficult, our economy has taken a huge fall, the house values have dropped dramatically and people now days can't afford to buy a house. Some owe the banks more than what their house is actually worth, so it wouldn't even be an investment to sell, because they would still owe the bank a remaining balance. It is horrible, I hope that the economy rises up again soon.
