the first snow has fallen and it stays on the ground. It is that time of the year when I get down emotional. It is that time of the year when I hate to go out doors. It is that time of the year I wish my self over the lands to a snowfree place with the sun shining in my face. How about You, do you like this time of the year and if you do, why is that.

Oh gee I did not want to be reminded, but thankfully ours does not come until sometime in late November. Yes it is quite emotional for me as well as it is so difficult to go anywhere as we get them strong.

Okey, I just woke up way to early in a weekend just to wash clothing and my winter clothing needs to be washed to. Noticed that yesterday morning when I put them out of my closet and found out my sons dog had been on them. They for sure needs to be washed. But hey, the snow is gone, now it is raining...lol

It was actually a good thing, I went into the closet and pulled out all the winter pj's and sweaters.. I am re-washing them today getting my brain ready for the brutal winter. So this was great that you reminded me as I had to get them out and well your reminder said to me it is time.

Aw! Why do you get emotional? I have been dreaming to experience snow! We don't get that kind of weather on my tropical country!!! But when the cold season comes, I get emotional as well sometimes. Is it because of the cold?

Well, I cant say why, but I do not like this period of time in the year. Thats the reason for being emotional. I hate to go out side in this time of the year. It is slickery and my fear is I will hurt my self becouse of that.

I live near the Arctic Circle, and we have to try to get used to the darkness every winter. I wish we could save some light from the summer - that time we have too much light I have found some good ways to survive the times of depression. If you wish to read my poems, you will find a link to Bukisa in my profile. I have the same username there as in myLot. Another way is to keep our body in shape with exercise, so I try to find a time to walk every day if possible. I also take food supplements that has helped me to get the nourishment that is very difficult to find from ordinary food. If we eat the wrong fats, our brain will suffer and we get depressed much more easily. Welcome to send me a message if you wish to know more. You can write in Swedish if you like.

There are many people who doesn't want winter time. I am glad that I live in a tropical country and there is no winter here. Maybe you can do some other indoor activities so you will feel happier.

well, If I could I would. But I have to go out to go to bus for work. I hate the walks in the winter becouse of fear to slip and hurt my self becouse it is so slickery outside. Every year the same, I hate to put on so much clothing and big shoes to keep warm.

I had to check what country you lived in. I guess in Sweden the snow comes early. If you like snow that can be good. Canada is not much different but I hope I don't see snow till late December. If we get any significant amount of snow earlier it will be a long winter. Maybe I'm getting too old for the cold of Canada. Anybody live in a tropical land that wants a friend? I'll have to readjust my attitude towards the cold and the snow, if I'm going to see another spring. This is depression time and a more positive outlook will be needed.

Yes, it was way to early for me. But really as usual it is not. But I was hoping we had enough of snow last year and was kind of hoping this year we would have a green christmas.
