If given the choice to what kind of wedding I would have by the time I do get married, I'd say that I would prefer a church wedding over a civil wedding. If I can also add a little more into it, I would like a garden or even a beach wedding but, church weddings already cost a lot, what more for those kinds? I have attended around four weddings as far as I could recall. Most of them of relatives and all of them done at the church. Its not because most of those that I have attended happened at the church but, as long as their is a priest that would preside. Don't get me wrong, I am not that religious. I guess those are one of the things that my parents would expect me to do for them as their son. (^_^") Rather traditional when it comes to such things. Here in our country, divorce is not allowed but, annulment is

for many filipinos esp those who are still following our tradition they would prefer a church wedding. But to those who are practical especial when it comes to financial matters they would go into a civil wedding, but there are also some prefers a garden or a beach wedding that is on their budget.I remembered a friend when she told me that,a civil wedding is more a valid one(not saying that church wedding is not)because the priest needs to file or get their license to do it..:),well we all have our choices even me and my husband are still planning for a church wedding someday,we got married 2007 in civil wedding..good luck to you someday!

Neither, for me. I'm not religious at all so I have no interest in being in a church, but I wanted it more formal than just going to the courthouse. I got married in a gorgeous wedding chapel and I wrote the ceremony myself.

I don't mind actually, just as long as we are bonded legally. As a woman, this is the only thing we can get hold of a man. Without this, union between a man and a woman would be worthless especially if the man you're with is not trustworthy.

Well, i would prefer a civil marriage, as i am not a christian so there is no question about that i won't like to get married at church. But in our religion it is almost compulsary to visit our praying place even if the marriage is civil. And civil marriage is more enjoying. Harry, :-)

If I decided to get married, I want a civil and a church wedding. As a Catholic I want to have a church wedding for the blessing ceremony and civil wedding for the legalization of our marriage.
