I was thinking of buying myself Fallout-New Vegas, since I remember how well Fallout 3 was. Personally it looks like a good game to me, but if you have played the game could you tell me what it's like. This will help find out if I should but this game or not.

I loved Fallout 3. I have been playing New Vegas since around mid December, and I am not as impressed. It is good, but doesn't seem to have the "flair" that Fallout3 had. They have added new features that were really good ideas, but it really doesn't make the game "fresh". The scenery has changed somewhat, It is not nearly as annoying to navigate as the Washington subway system was, which is a huge plus in my opinion. The thing that really killed it for me was the quests. They don't have the personality that they did in 3. It was more of the same only less exciting. Still a good game, especially if you are a big Fallout fan.

Hi! If you enjoyed playing fallout 3 you should definitely get new vegas. For the most part it is the same as 3, wondering round the wasteland completing missions, collecting stuff, shooting stuff etc. The colour palette is more pleasing to the eye, even blue sky, and the strip in vegas itself is all colour and flashy lights! There are more weapons, more people to talk to and more places to visit than fallout 3 although the map is slightly smaller, but it is not overwhelming. You can now level up to level 30 and there are some cool new perks. For the main quest you end up basically taking one of four sides to settle the final battle over vegas and the hoover dam. Its pretty cool. I highly recommend you get the game but as it is quite glitchy make sure you download the latest patch for your console. Ive been playing 78 hours, i am level 21 and im still loving every second of it, if you want a game you can play forever and really feel like you are a part of the setting and characters lives this is it.
