I consider my father the best friend I ever had. I am a girl but I can talk to him about anything. He may not be a good adviser but just listening to me make me feel alright. He is not rich but he had given me the best life he can give. He may not be wise but sharing his simple thoughts make things more lighter to me. And the best thing he had done to me is by being a father to me all time!

hi edna, you are lucky to have a father like him, i am happy hearing things like this. on my part, i think the best thing that my father have done not only for me but for the whole family is he chose to change for the better. i am very happy and proud that he was able to do the things that other people think is impossible. before, i don't have a very good relation to him, in my younger years actually we have a gap but things change and no we are closer and it seems like our bond is getting stronger as if nothing bad happens in the past. i admire him for his effort to be a 'father' to me and my brother and a 'husband' to my mom. now i can say that i am one lucky girl as well to have him as my father. he shows me that everybody deserves a second chance and nothing is impossible if you have the desire and determination to change. he just show us that he's one responsible and loving father, something that we are not able to appreciate before due to some issues.

Your father is a commendable, he changed cause he loves his family. He's fitted to be called "father."

I'm glad you are having a wonderful journey together as father and son. In my case, I would say being emotionally verbal has never been his gift but physically supporting in all my wants and needs, I would definitely salute him for that.

My father doesn`t talk a lot, but he`s very nice. He is always available when I need him to edit my translation LOL. He only says"just do it, don`t be afraid of making mistakes"and he trusts in me. I mean, he knows that actually I have translation skill, what I need is to improve, that`s why he tells me not to hand over my writing/translation job to anyone. He encourages me to do it by myself, then he edits it. Then...oh...he buys me a laptop. Actually, I plan to buy a new netbook for me, but he says that his laptop is for me because he rarely uses it, except for inbox checking. He`s also a responsible husband and father, i am grateful that my parents have been together for 38 years, with two daughters and one grandson ( from my eldest sister)

I think the best thing my father had done for me is that he left no stone unturned to make me a good human being.
