After Bound For Glory, we see Jeff Hardy as part of "Them" -now called "Immortal"-, as their new TNA Champion -even being more prominent than the TNA's T.V. champion, AJ Styles, member of Fourtune-. What do you think about this BOLD move -considering the legal issues that Jeff is getting at this time, for alleged drug possession for the purpose of traffic-? How will affect the backstage in TNA -the moral of the TNA Originals, like AJ or Samoa Joe-? Will this new Jeff Hardy's "persona" will contribute to him to enhance his poor mic skills -maybe receiving backstage help from wrestlers with great mic skills, like Raven-?

This Jeff Hardy heel turn...I'm really not feeling it to be honest with you. The fact is The NW...er Immortal is going to run wild of the shows and its going to be painful is really causing me to want to just leave TNA for a couple of months and give them another try when the new year starts. I don't think this Jeff Hardy thing is going to work. There was some interest, but TNA killed it week one. Plus the fact that they really need to devote an episode of Reaction to explain this convoluted mess. I think Jeff Hardy's mic skills are absolutely abysmal. Rob Van Dam's are as well but only as a babyface. Rob Van Dam is pretty awesome as a heel in ECW. So they have this inevitable RVD and Jeff Hardy feud when the wrong guy is the face and the wrong guy is the heel. Plus I'm a bit skeptical about putting the belt on a guy with legal issues. Then again, this is the company that signed Pacman Jones, who offered no upside to the company. Also, a year ago at this time after leaving WWE, give or take a couple of months, Jeff Hardy was perhaps the biggest star in the wrestling world. At least in the top three and he should have be big, legal problems nonwithstanding, he should have been the biggest thing that TNA ever had. Still TNA messed him up by dropping the ball and pretty much making him another guy. By the time he got the title, I think it was too little too late and then they mucked it up with a nonsensical heel turn joining the new Immortal faction which was yet another retread of the NWO...wait a minute, as a long term fan this story sounds very familiar. Let me replace a couple of names and situations. After the Montreal Screwjob, Bret Hart was perhaps the biggest star in the wrestling world. At least among the top three and he should have been the biggest thing that WCW could have had. Still WCW messed up big time by making him just another guy right out of the gate. Still WCW messed him up by dropping the ball on him and making him just another guy. By the time he was actually given the title, it was too little, too late and then they muck it up even even more with a nonsensical heel turn turn, joining the new version of the NWO. Eerie, no.
