which is more depress reliever, cats or dogs?

yeah, i got both cats and dog
ever sine i was a child my family has a pet that we consider a part of our family, it's either cat or dogs or both. all of my pets are very caring, but mostly our cats always very close to me? and I don't know why?
my cat gave me a special attention, i don't know if i smell like a fish or what, but that's the way it is; in a sense that my cat sleep on my chest. unlike my dogs they always bite me or they only come to me because they want something?
but it doesn't mean i love less my dog!!! it just i felt i'm special whenever my cat gave me something weird.

It just depends which you get along with more - it's not really the type or breed of animal, it's the spirit or personality within that living animal that makes the difference if you know what I mean - like with humans, you would get along better and like certain people more than others. It's like that with my fish - they have their own different personalities and each gives me something different.... :)

i were i going to choose among the two animals,maybe i will prefer to chose the dog, the cat makes me irritating. don't want there fur.lol

I don't think there is one that is more than the other. I think which ever one you enjoy more is the one that will help you. Now dogs do have more maintenance than cats. Cats can take care of themselves more than dogs. So if you need the walk occasioally and all that I would chose the dog.
