Well, if you ask me then i would say no, i don't like to go to the doctor. Fear is not the reason, i just don't like it i don't know why. So for small things i don't go to the doctor but if it's considerably worrying disease then i would go to the doctor.
Do you like to go to the doctor?

Being myself a homeopath & my husband an allopath, I usually need not go to visit a doctor. But if circumstances demand, I must go to a doctor.

Ok .. That's great that there are two doctors in your family. so you don't need to go to the doctor. And you can help many people here. You must know many things about homeopathy as you are a homopathic doctor . But i don't know what an allopath does.

yes i'm same with you, if i'm just a little sick i don't have to go to the doctor cause i can heal myself with rest in my room.
But if the sick is serious and not gone away after 2-3 days usually i do the check up with doctor, but i don't wanna be shot with injector cause i hate it so I'm only take advice from doctor and get the medicine.

Its not that I dont like going to the doctors, I just feel I may be wasting their time. If its something simple then I wont bother going there, I'll just treat it in other ways, I dont really like taking medication either, I prefer to find a natural way to treat something. I'll only go to the doctors if I dont know what is wrong with me. And then I have to fight to get an appointment, my local doctors surgery is very busy!

Well, yes everybody has got some remedies of home to get rid of their light diseases such as cold, cough, headache and stomachache. We don't really need to go to the doctor to cure these diseases. But for critical diseases we must consult a doctor.

I am a nurse and I am aware of the benefits that you will consult first to your doctor before taking medications, procedures and etc. But I myself don't like to go to the doctor. I am scared to know what I may have. I am afraid that one day, he will talk to me of having cancer. I don't like that.

Yea being lazy maybe the another reason of not going to the doctor. I am also a lazy person, so that maybe the another reason that i also don't like to go to the doctor. But if you are so lazy then you can call the doctor to your home but you will have to pay a lot for this.

I prefer not too.
I think to many people go when they have a simple cold, it also spreads it easier in my opinion. I'm not saying I don't think people should, although some I know for sure have the habit of going for just very little things. Seems a waste of time, might as well get some medicine.
For those reason I only go if it's something I feel strongly warrants the attention of my doctor.

Well, then we have similar thinking. I also don't like to go to the doctor for just simple things like cold or light cough, at that time i just take medicines from chemist. But as you said that a little cold can spread so may be it's better to get it checked by the doctor... Nah.. Who has this much time to waste..lol..

I don't know if it's a case of me enjoying the process of visiting my doctor but I do go out of a necessity! Whenever I notice something that is wrong, perhaps a bump here or a bump there then I always make sure that I book an appointment to have it checked out. There's so much information now about how we should be more curious about our own bodies and we should have things checked out even if there is nothing wrong, better to be safe than sorry.
I agree, there are a few people that don't like going to their local doctor and this is their personal choice but I always like to err on the side of caution! I'm very happy with my doctor and she has always been very understanding. Andrew

I don't know too many people that would say they enjoy going to the doctor. this is something i put off for as long as i can. i can definitely say that I am not someone who looks forward to doctor visits.@harry89 (2330)

Ok, i think you also don't like to go to the doctor that's what i have conclude from your words. We know that doctors ard here for a good cause but still after that we don't like to go to them i just don't get the reason why. Happy myloting.

I highly dislike going to the doctor. First of all, because doctors are expensive, even if you carry an insurance, and you never know if the doctor will make you come back many times instead of solving your problem in just one visit to earn more money -I have seen this, it's so sad...-. Some other doctors also tend to treat their patients as if they were sc*m, and I think that it's very disrespectful.

hello,friend. i agree with you too. and i don't like to go to see the doctor so much. and the doctors will give me so much words to say . and give me so much press for my little hurt or other diseases. above all they will let me pay so much money than what i get . so this is the reason why i don't like the doctors.

I would say no. I do not wnt to go hospital to see doctors. Smelling medicines, seeing different patients fractured and ill i do not like all of this.

I don't like to go to the doctor for a lot of reasons.
Firstly because it means that I would have an healty problem(and it is not good), Secondly because I don't like the medical office, finally I hate waiting one hour or more for a visit (and I use to wait a lot in my doctor office)!!!
