That is amazing! You had favor upon you that day. I'm glad you and your family were kept safe. Same with the truck driver. Also, that was quick thinking on your husband's part. He had someone keeping his mind calm while in that situation. My day was a little uneventful. I napped. Haha. But I got up and made tomorrow's lunch. That turkey lasagna is way long overdue. I'll be celebrating your safety with lasagna tomorrow! :D

Ya that is a pretty crazy Sunday afternoon. Good thing your husband is a good defensive driver and pays attention to the road because in a blink of a eye you can lose it all even by no fault of your own. I remember one time I was driving home around 6am and coming around a bend when I seen a car coming my way. He came in to the corner fine so I was not worried but as he got closer I could see the other car was going to come into my lane. Only problem is this bend is on a hill and on both sides of the road there is a 10 to 20 foot drop. So I had to wait until he got up close and swerve at the last minute just missing him by inches. I stopped to look behind me and his car had had stopped in the middle of the road facing the opposite way he was traveling. I got out of my car and went over to his to find out what he was doing and all he could say was he fell asleep. Ya he did after drinking all night. We called the cops but he took off so never heard anything about it after wards. Your just not safe anywhere these days it seems. Sorry to hear you had such a far out day but you can be happy to be alive or not injured.
