Do call their the said bank's customer care hot line. They are most helpful. Just be ready to answer questions that you made when you registered with them since they want to check as a security precaution whether you are the real owner of the said Eon card. I did call them today to assist me in getting my card verified and the customer rep was so helpful. Although I goggled how I can get the said verification code since I was puzzled why the said code was not send to me and yet they have deducted the said amount to my eoncard. I will get the P100 refund since I had completed the verification process. It is also helpful to logged in once a month to your eon account that is if you have registered online to use the online banking trasaction with your Eon card.

Having an eon account online you need to change password every 180 days.. this is for our protection. You also need to log into your account at least once a month. If you do not do this your online account will be blocked and you have to call the online support to ask them to reopen your online account. You can still use the card as a debit card but online transaction will be temporarily unavailable. What happened to my account was that I didn't log into it for 5 months since I only used it to have my account in paypal verified... Now, since I am not using it still my paypal account says I need an active debit/credit card. I am not minding that yet... the Unionbank is too far from my place and I am always busy at work...

Hey, I a also an EON account holder.I experienced this 3 times since I joined last August 2009.On my first time seeing this notice I was nervous. Then I called the customer support hotline. They answered me well and had instructed me the steps to retrieve the access to my EON, Second time I was less nervous. Then on third time which happened four days ago, I stay calm and easy. All you have to is to retype and try any new transaction password. This is for our safety. If you cannot do it successfully, I can say try to call the Union Bank.
