Do you believe in petitioning the Saints?

Have you ever prayed to a Saint and had your prayer come true? This is something I have been very interested in lately. We got a statue of St. Joseph and buried him at my mom's condo to sell it, and it worked! She had no responses until she followed the instructions on her St. Joseph's statue. I have also heard that St. Gerard is great for helping women with fertility issues. And I've had some interesting things happen around the other saints. It makes sense to me, although I am no longer Catholic. I think there are many souls on the other side who help us. If they had a speciality in life here on earth, why wouldn't they be able to help with that from the other side? Share your story of having a saint help you with a prayer.

I grew up in a Catholic family and my grandmother believed in petitioning saints. It does seem to work. Everyone in my family that has a home has a Mary statue in the fron yard and a St Francis statue in the back yard.

I always pray to the Saints. I like to turn on candles for them. They do miracles.

Do you have any particular saints that you work with for specific things? or any examples of stories. I'd love to hear something inspirational or learn more from this thread. Thanks!
