Stop Nursing in the Philippines...

Greetings to the community!!! I am a newly graduate nurse just this March, 2010. I now experience the dilemma of looking for a hospital to work for or to get experience from. This is due to the humongous pending applications from nurses who have graduated year 2006... Man, that was four years ago... Wow, now I wonder, what year would I be acquiring my hospital experience, If I keep up with the flow... Would it be right to say "Stop Nurse production!!!" here in the Philippines... 'coz I find it a bit awkward to say, specially now that I just recently qualified as an RN... And what do you think people, specially those who are in-charge, should do? What is your point of view?

Actually, there is already a petition to lessen the production of nurses in the Philippines. I am not sure if it was passed already but there's someone who is doing a motion for this already. and regarding experiences, theres a lot of hospitals that accepts nurse trainee, however, we just bear with the fact that in SOME hospitals and institutions, nurses have to pay for the training. Lets just hope for the best about it. God bless. happy mylotting =)
