i have an lcd monitor.i bought this very recently and is doing good to my electricity bills.it consumes very little power and also helps me to see better.the most power that is consumed by a computer is a crt.since lcd are much thinner and save power, they are the best.

Both my computer at home and in the office have CRT screens. They are more vibrant than LCDs but the disadvantage though is radiation. A lot of computer companies right now are moving on to LCDs, i just hope the prices would go down and the quality it renders would be better.

i have a CRT viewsonic 19 inches grapgic series... you have to weigh what to buy... i end up choosing a CRT because i am more into gaming and video editing...

My Pc monitor at home is a CRT. I dont think Im in love with the present quality of LCDs. HD monitors are out, so if i get a smaller version for my computer table, Ill give it a home. Else, no LCD for me.
