I have a laptop from Acer company and another assembled Desk top computer! I don't have any problem with both the computers. I heard from several people that assembled computers are not good at the functioning, but to my surprise my desk top is working fantastically in dusty conditions prevailing on the farm where I live. Where as the branded companies Desk tops owned by few of my friends gone crashed! I think by assembling the computers we not only saving the money but we also have choice of configuring the computer according to our needs. Since all the parts are being manufactured by reputed companies and assembling is simply clipping in these parts with each other in the respective slots provided. Thus with this logic I have gone for this assembled PC of mine I am very happy with its performance so far! Oh yes we can upgrade these computers at any time at nominal cost. We can change the other parts like monitor, key board etc at any time as per our wish! Which type of computer you have and what is your experience with it? Please respond!

Hello AKRao, When we purchase computer for office use, we are going through the computer people who have a contract with us for annual maintenance. They are always getting the parts and get it assembled by them. I think it is the best option. Our office computers are like that only and functions well.

Yes dear Sreekala, They are worth for the price we pay for them if they are assembled and they can easily be repaired also as the components are readily available locally! I think most of the Offices they are using the assembled computers without any problem! Thanks for responding !

assembled are a better option since you can buy different peripherals of different companies and much cheaper price compared to the branded stuff . The end result is the same. E.g is Dell PC has a motherboard processor for say Intel Pentium i5 with a genuine motherboard from Intel, the same thing might actually cost you around 12oooINR for board and processor. The other disadvantage of branded stuff is that , they never let you open your own machine , and if you do by mistake then the warrant voids! So what you do is you pay your own hard earned money and then you have no rights to open your own computer ! Branded machine look all the same with no color options etc. Whereas assembled one could be bought with various styles patterns colors shades etc. Finally ... assembled computers some cheap and last long !

Hello Dear lionheartguru, I fully agree with your views and endorse them. What is the fun if we can't open and change the desired components of our computers to make them the way we want! I liked your funda. and I appreciate it! Three cheers for assembled computers... Thanks for responding!
