I think there's no wrong or right time to eat fruits. I mean, if you're hungry, you eat whatever you feel like, right? the body would still absorb nutrients and stuff. as for fruit juices being 'not good to have', I think they're talking about the sweetened, processed kind.

The right way to eat fruits is not eating it after meals and/or it should be eaten on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the other food and produce gas thus makes your stomach bloat.

I read somewhere that back in the ancient roman times, they used to eat fruit before the rest of the meal rather than afterwards as a dessert, like we do now, and that apparently, the 'roman way' is better for the stomach... I can't seem to remember why it was like that, though, but I think it had to do with being able to digest things better that way. Concerning fruit juices, I guess they mean that it's not good to eat those overly processed kinds, since they usually have a lot of sugar and extra thigns added, and that you should preferably drink 100% natural fruit juice instead.
