Castlevania Series

I am a big fan of the Castlevania series (mostly 2d). Currently i'm playng the classics of the GBA (O.o). But it is amazing how they manage to create so many games with different stories, but always in the same location an with the same vilain.
And you? Have played some Castlevania? Which one?
