I woke up yesterday at 5 am, only to realize I had an hour to shower, dress, wake the kids, feed them, dress them, do my daughter's hair, and get them to daycare before I had to be at work! And any parent out there can tell you that 3 year olds, 2 year olds, and 4 month olds are RARELY happy to be woken up before they're ready! So we finally got it all done. But I realized I had forgotten to pack their lunches! So on my lunch break, I sped across town to drop off lunch and snacks for the two older ones, and barely made it back to work on time. Then when we got home, it was rush, rush, rush all over again. My point is, I think I've found a way to destress in the midst of it all. My Relaxation Tool Kit. It has high-protein snack bars, chocolate drops, a cheesy romance novel, candles, an old bottle of perfume that smells like heaven, my iPod, and a pad of inspirational quotes I wrote down. Something for all the senses. Do you have a unique way to relax and center yourself after a long stressful day?

Hi ChampagneGiggles! You are a supermom. And what a great way to relax. For me it has to be around with the plants and I feel very relaxed when I'm in the garden or doing some gardening.

lol all moms are supermoms in their kids' eyes. I would love to get my garden started again, but with the onset of winter, I guess I'd have to have an indoor one.
