There has been speculation that when jesus walked on water, he was faking it. Where he walked on water : All we no is that it was within 2 miles of the dead sea. FACT even you could walk on the dead sea due to high salt content. OPINION jesus was faking and walked on the dead sea. MY OPINION it was legit. he was the son of god and did walk on the water. real water. WHATS YOUR OPINION?

This entire discussion hinges on whether or not you believe the Bible. Non-believers speculate on many topics of the Bible, because they are non-believers. Being a believer, I accept the words of Christ as they were recorded in the Bible to be absolute truth. In the Bible Jesus absolutely claims to be God, and so I have no problem with Him walking on water.

Criss Angel too walks on water. See the clip to believe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBQLq2VmZcA. What Jesus' disciples saw was an illusion. They thought Jesus was walking on water, though he was walking on shallow waters. Their boat too was not sailing in deep waters but closer to the land. When Peter asked Jesus could he also come Jesus replied, "come'; but Peter was drowning. Jesus had put out his hand and lifted him up. The most important thing here is not that Jesus had walked on water and if he did, then how did he do it. The thing important here is as Jesus had put out his hand to save Peter in the same way God also had put out his hand to save humanity by coming himself as his own son Jesus.

My opinion hmmm I believe Jesus was just a regular man who they made up stories about if he existed at all. And if this is true there is a good scientific explanation for it.

well, for me guys, have faith in your heart that even a single seed of a pepper you can command the mountain to move unto the sea. The problem with us now, is just we always adopt the idea of seeing is believing... From that moment the disciples indeed relate that the saw Jesus walking on the water the principles already apply for them.. And for me now, Faith constantly give me the freedom to believe things that is really happening and even more because Jesus is a Son of God... People nowadays can have tricks and do magic to walk on water just like Chris Angel is doing in his shows.. How much more to a Son of God... nothing is impossible with Him... be it a magic or trick... the good thing is that He has shown us the power of FAITH which does not come from within but from GOD.

I agree. Jesus was well-versed in many similar things, as you've also shown. He could do, & did do much, much more than was recorded in the Holy Bible which covers only a few years of his long life. It is not too difficult to believe. There are people in the world who do some of these things that Jesus has done today, & more besides. If you were to witness some of these things, you would believe Jesus did them even more so. Remember what he said to his disciples? He told them that whatever miracles they have witnessed him do were done by others before him & that they too will be able to do even better than he has in the future.
