What are your views on assisted suicide?Im pretty sure Christianity would say its never okay,But the other side is of loved ones who see suffering every day with no end in sight and maybe a person has expressed that they want the pain to end,So can it ever be okay to assist somebody in a suicide attempt?

I am against mercy killing, not because my religion does not allow me but even my conscience does not permit me to assist someone in ending ones own life. The person who says he wants to end his or her life is saying so under extreme pain and compulsion. No one wants to end life willingly and happily. I would rather do my best to alleviate someone's sufferings but not in the way you have suggested.

Most people woudl say no to this question. They would say it's wrong, and why would you even ask such a thing, but I disagree. There are some situations where it maybe needed. If I were in a situation that pain was so bad that I couldn't do anything but lay around on a bed all day for the rest of my life why would I want to live. There would be no purpose in living. NOTHING. I couldn't move, work, or advance the rest of my life in any way. Why should it be illegal for a doctor to pull the plug on a client if it's the clients wish. Sometimes it is the answer, very rarely, and in only some situations, but yes it can be okay to do it.
