Man vs Microorganisms

Man is spending lots of money on research to invent newer & more effective antibiotics to fight their battle against the microorganisms like bacteria, virus, parasite,fungus etc but the microorganisms on the otherhand are growing resistance against those very soon by their struggle for existence. They have no scientists to work in laboratories. Whom would you give more credit, to man or to the microorganisms ?

I give credit to microorganisms. These single cell organisms have survived for billions of years, while humanity has survived for 500 thousand years( give or take). While we as humans do an amazing job at creating stronger and more potent anti-biotics, these small organisms just have to many years of evolution behind them.
