I am still getting pimples. Heck I thought that the older you got the pimples would go away. I know that sounds crazy but I really thought that....LOL So am I going to have pimples at say 70? This is so weird I have never had that many pimples anyway, but this is ridiculous . Do you know a cure for the pimples? How old are you do you still get pimples? Is there any way to stop getting pimples? What causes pimples?.....LOL

After a change in medication I'm getting them terribly at the moment. I'm 27 and seem to be fighting a volcano on my cheek. It's embarrassing. The doctor gave me a skin lotion, but it's not doing enough. Keep your skin clean and drink lots of water is the only advice I can give you. And get a good pimple cream! I sympathise with you!

Hi Phaedra_Scythe. I hope your volcano goes away soon. I know the feeling. I only drink water all day long. I have a cup of coffee in the morning but know that the water is better for us. Thanks for the advice.

Hi,free_man! I don't quite know what pimples are.But I think we get pimples at any age.I checked online and seems there are many causes to have pimples. And it's hard to define what kind of pimples they are,so it's hard to know what the causes are.Maybe you can check on Wiki and find out the most suitable case.Or go to a doctor to find out the reasons. Good luck to you and wish you a good day!

I get pimples ALL the time. I got my first pimple when I was about 9. I have had terrible acne since I was about 11 and got my period. It has not stopped since then and I am 27. It has eased up a lot from what it was but its still there bothering me. In my case its genetic. My mother had acne until she was 40 :(

Hi Shaggin. I have never really had a problem with acne ever. I just found it strange that I would actually get pimples at my age. I figured that they would go away by now.....LOL After all I am not a young woman any more. Believe me when I was your age I started using a green scrubbie because I started to notice wrinkles and this stressed me really bad. Then a friend of mine told me that she scrubbed her face with this green scrubbie and I tried it. I will always use it until I can't find them anymore. The wrinkles slowly disappeared. Wrinkles in my family start early in life. My sisters are mostly older then me but I don't look as old as my youngest sister does.....LOL Hope you find a cure for the pimples. But try the scrubbie you don't have to scrub real hard just gently and it might help you.

I have read that a Boric Acid solution can help clear up acne.

Hi Iamcarli and welcome to my lot. I only have one or two pimples. I heard that Boric Acid would clear up acne too. But I only have a couple once in awhile. Thanks though.

Wow. I thought you don't get pimples when you get older. I think it's from the dirt that clogs your pores. Just wash your face everyday to get those oil out.

Oh my gosh free-man why in the world do you use a green scrubbie that you scrub your pots and pans with to scrub your face? That is so rough thats no good for your skin. You can just use a little sugar and water and rub it on your face it gently exfoliates it without being so harsh on your skin as the green scrubbie would be.

I would be scared to use it. I imagine if you do it very gently it could work well as an exfoliator but I cant imagine that it would remove wrinkles. As far as I know when you get wrinkles they are there for the rest of your life unless you have surjery done. Have you put on weight in the last 27 years because when you gain weight in your face your wrinkles get less deep. I dont really have any fat on my face maybe thats why I look so old now :(

Hi Shaggin. Actually it isn't that bad I don't scrub it hard it is a gentle scrub. And believe me it really does keep my skin from being all wrinkled up. I used to have a few more wrinkles on my face until I started using this scrubbie. I have been using it since I was 27. I have a sister that is younger then me and I have been carded with her with me and they didn't card her....LOL So I look younger then her. That's funny to me. Isn't the sugar sticky? Never tried it. Another reason I use the scrubbie is I don't look my age. I have had many complements on my skin.

Hi. Aside from the genes that runs in our blood that makes reappearing of your pimples, try to avoid eating foods that trigger production of sebum that clogs pores such as sweets and fatty foods. Always drink 8-10 glasses of water daily, get enough sleep and eat fruits and veg. God bless.

Hi Gegett and welcome to my lot. Thanks for the advice. I don't ever eat fatty foods and I drink about a gallon of water a day. I have always preferred water to drink over every thing else. Thanks again and God bless you.

Well you have the two answers about why we get them from our diet to clogged pores, but like you, I am surprised that I am still getting one occasionally and I am just a couple years short of 50..I guess this is what some call "adult acne" Here is a site where it mentions another cause I forgot about, "stress" http://beauty.about.com/od/skinflaws/a/adultacne.htm this may also help you in caring for your skin, though when I read it, I don't think I'd do any of it as my skin is also very dry now. So an occasional outbreak is ok with me..:)

Hi Carmelanirel. Thanks for the site I will go look. My skin isn't dry nor oily it seems like it is between both. I Thank you again. The pimples don't really bother me I just think it is strange since I don't take any medicine or eat fatty foods. I am how ever under a little stress now. Oh well they go away in a day or two.

The reason may be genetic because up to now you suffer acne.
