I couldn't believe it today while I was raking leaves. It started to snow. It's not supposed to snow yet, it's not quite cold enough.
But sure enough, it started to snow. First it was rain, then turned into ice pellets, then it was big fat flakes.
We were about to pack up when it stopped, so we went back to work. It continued on and off all day, but we still managed to get done what was needed.
It's hard to rake wet leaves, and it's even harder to do so while the snow is coming down.
In 3 and a half years, I have never cleaned a yard when it was snowing.
So much for the idea of global warming.

Do you live in Canada? I know they had snow off and on in Toronto today and barrie got snow last week. I live outside Sarnia and we didn't get any today, but the weather cannel is calling for some tonight. Fortunately, the ground is far from frozen so it won't stay. I think it will at least be a few more weeks before that happens.

I'm in Toronto. I was down near High Park working when it started.
Pretty annoying honestly, our winter contracts haven't started yet, we're still doing fall cleanups.

I miss the snow all the time. Kris, would you send me some via E-Mail? just please don't throw it at me ;)
I'm hoping we get some but all we're getting at the moment is darn rain, slinging it down too. It's nice but it can be quite annoying when it's all it does and you don't get many off days, I suppose it's normal and it's not that I dislike the rain itself I just dislike the things that come with it.
Snow on the other hand is great fun! I always love the snowy weather!!

It was snowing here too, a couple of days ago. The temperatures were so chilly making me feel like it is winter already. Well, any way, winter is on the way waving it's hands at us now. I don't know whether I should welcome it or run away before it arrives. Ha ha ! I am thinking about travelling south to warmer places, a winter escape as it is said, like the birds flying south !

I actually woke up this morning and there was already snow on the ground. I do find it beautiful, but it is perhaps a little too early for my liking. But it's really not the end of my world. I can live with it. I actually have to live with it.

Ya it was snowing here also in Canada about a week ago where I live then again the other day there where huge flakes falling. I don't mind the snow coming its the cold and wind thats usually with it that I really hate.
