What do you think is the most reliable email service and why?

I was going to make a new email, but I wanted to see what the majority said was the best and most reliable to them throughout the years. I like email providers with great spam detectors too. I don't feel like fishing through my email to find spam or unwanted junk emails.

Hotmail is not bad. Even some websites require you to use hotmail for some reason. :)
