Last time when I went to London, and one of the Harry Potter books were released I perceived a madness among all. Whether they were kids or young people and even elders were in HP fever. I have read a couple of HP books and they were quite good. But I don't find the reason behind that madness where people queue up in the night till morning outside the bookstore to get these books. I mean its not that another MAGIC tool by Mr. Steve Joves. In USA Harry Potter is popular but I don't think our kids are that crazy for Mr. Potter. What about the rest of the world? What is the scenario out there? Please share.

R u indirectly telling me that m old so I don't feel the craze over Mr. potter? :-) I feel d same madness like a youngster wen i watch a soccer game. My take on life is bit different. I think most stuffs in this world has nothing to do with age. If something is good, it will appeal d same way to all irrespective of age, caste, creed, religion, country, region etc. Look son, Mother Teresa was popular among all of all age groups. I don't say I am not fascinated by dis world of Mr. potter but I just don't understand this wild craze. Is it temporary just b4 the release or forever. Is there is same craze for him everywhere? What about India? Do u guys queue up at midnight for the books? Will be waiting for ur reply Jack

I didnt mean any thing like that. What i mentioned is a general thing. In our country many believes that it is just a children book. I also dont find that much craziness here.We dont use to queue up at midnight for the book. Still there are some who are very crazy.

People here in the Philippines are crazy about Harry Potter. I remember my friend lining up to reserve a copy of the last HP book months before its release. There is even a special HP day whenever a new book in the series is released. Even when the film was released, we had to wait for a week after the premiere to watch it without standing inside the cinema. It really big here.

I miss Harry Potter. At the first release of the first movie, it was very wild! Everyone was dreaming about him and if Hogwarts is real. I kept on screaming every time the trailer appears on the screen. It was a magical year of witchcraft and wizard. But now, Vampires are ruling theaters. But Harry Potter still lives in my heart.
