How do I become a good daughter and still maintain being an adult?

I do the best I can but sometimes my opinion gets away with me. My parents are conservative and I am a bit of both of that. I don't want to be too old fashioned and get on with my life, but sometimes sickness in the way and I am grouchy. What do you think?
