how do u listen to nagging of someone

have u ever been in a situation when a person is nagging and u r listning to him and doing nothing or u will ask him to stop or listen peacefully with all ur goodness ?

yes, i have been into that situation. what i did is just listen and listen. in that way, she can fully express what she wanted to say and she can feel that you are listening to her. listen is a way of comforting. :)

Usually, I listen sincerely and if the person is quite agitated, try to pacify him/her. But, if I'm in a not so goo mood, I butt in and say, so what do you think should you do, or what should we do, or what could I do. Or, my mind just automatically shuts off, and the nagging becomes a drone - I can't listen to what the person if saying.

It depends on what exactly the person is saying. If he or she keeps on cursing, I don't think I would be able to stand that. I guess I would just excuse myself and leave but before that, I would let him or her know that my ears won't tolerate such words. However, if the person is nagging just for the sake of venting out what's bothering him or her, then I would just be quiet and let him or her air out what he or she has to say.

I usually will give the appearance of listening while I think of something else or wander how long until they are finished and when they finally do finish, I go do whatever I want anyway.
