I had been invited few times for my friend's wedding through the Event Application on Facebook. Some of them still gave me the real invitation, but some didn't. This Facebook invitation pattern is a new thing indeed, also there's pro and contra in the value of inviting friends and relatives. Since the invitees may feel that you don't sincerely invite them, they tend to know the sense of willingness. The considerations to invite through Facebook, however, it's more effective in terms of time and money (for sure). What do you feel and think about this new invitation pattern? Will you accept it as the same as an official invitation? Will you also do this application/pattern to invite your friends and relatives? Do you think it will be more common in the future?

I think that old classic invitation is the best. Invitations on facebook are good, but I don't take them seriously. If some of my friends send me invitation for hes wedding for example, hm... I'll accept that, but I prefer the paper one... :)

The internet invites have become and will continue to be more common in the future, however when it comes to weddings, I don't know I am bit old fashion in this area as I feel it is a bit more formal to send out stationary invites. I suppose if it is a small wedding it will be okay to send out invites this way, but when it comes to elaborate more classy weddings somehow my brain registers that stationary ones would be best.
