Can Drew be a better blonde than Reese?

I really liked Reese in this movie - legally blonde and also saw the sequel. But there is another actress of whom I am a great fan. I was wondering can Drew Barrymore would have been a better cast for the lead role? Though many may not agree but I think she could have justified the character more; but Reese was also great.
What you guys think? Please share.

I think that Drew Barrymore is much more suited for the role in Legally Blonde..She can be more bubbly and funnier than Reese Witherspoon.

I agree that Drew Barrymore is a great actress but I think she couldn't have pulled it off with this character. Drew's aura is so sweet, humble and down to earth but never dumb. I couldn't perceive her as a dumb blonde or a socialite hottie as well.
