Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster? I do press it more than once sometimes, but I don't think it makes it go faster. It would be nice if it did though.

I have done this many of times. But you are right that it never makes the door close faster. Kind of sucks though when you don't want a certain person to be in the elevator with you and they are coming right up to the elevator door. I've done that before, so they don't come in. I'm so mean. Anyway, it would definitely be nice if the door actually did close faster, when you press the button lots of times.

I find that I myself tend to push the elevator button repeatedly - more so when I am in a hurry. I know it does not make the elevator go any faster, but I guess this it is just me being impatient and wanting to do something instead of just standing there waiting, even though what I am doing does not really help!

Hello. I like to push the button more than one but the elevator in my university is weird. You have to enter the floor that you want to go from outside. Then the system will show which elevator for you. If you pushed the button for many times, the elevator will reset and you have to wait for another elevator.
