Philippine Cigarettes?

Hello fellow Smoking Mylotters. I have a question regarding the Philippines version of cigarettes. I have heard there are American brands made there, such as Marlboro. I wonder if they taste the same as the American cigarettes or if there is a difference. I heard that cigarettes from other countries do not taste as good as American smokes do, and I wonder if that still holds true today.
