I received an email today stating that I've won in a green card lottery program and that I need to pay a processing fee of $970 in order to receive my green card. Is there anyone here also received that kind of email? What do you think of this email? Is this a scam? Please help?

Yes, it's a scam. Nobody has the right to issue green cards except the government. These people prey on people who are desperate and think this is their chance to get a green car. All that will happen is that your money will disappear. You'll be $970. poorer and have nothing to show for it.

I hope you won't let yourself fooled by such a mail. It's sure it's a scam. I remember I received something like this many years ago. They first asked for my name and address then, within another e-mail, they asked for some money to send me some lottery prize. It can't be true, no matter how beautifull it seems, no matter how much you'd need that green card. Think a little, then do whatever you feel it's better for you.

Its looks like a scam, don't pay anything otherwise you might regret it. You can do verifications though, if you have friends in Thailand that would be best since you can ask for their direct assistance over this matter. If not, you might find other legal ways or legal consultation. There are alot of scams in the internet and I bet these are one of those.
