hi guys^^
i just read a news saying that a woman has to pay 1,5 million dollars just bcs she downloaded 24 songs. she was caught and now has to pay all that money. isnt it chocking? i guess that we all or at least the most part of people already downloaded songs online to put in mp3 players and in ipods or even in videos. i dont agree that this woman has to pay for that. everyone does that and they dont need to pay all that money. i feel sorry for her bcs she already didnt agree with
the judge decision a couple of times and more and more times she does that the more they will charge her i guess bcs before she didnt have to pay this much. in the songs included was richard marx that said that "was ashamed to be related in a farcical (sorry i dont know what this means it was written like this in the article i read) prosecution of an illegal downloader" what i think is too stupid bcs if he doesnt download songs of other singers is bcs he is super rich and
doesnt need to. besides she only took a few of his songs, bcs she had songs of other singers too, and im sure he didnt lose a lot of money bcs of that. why are people like this sometimes? that poor woman that has kids to take care of has to pay a lot of money bcs of download only 24 songs. this makes me angry bcs killers and drug dealers and guys that rape women are there outside and instead of try to find them want to charge a poor woman. the world is each day that passes worse with just people that only care for money and more money.. really sad

You think that law is bad, there are more dumb laws that are getting released. Like arresting old people who have pics of anime children. Confiscating laptop with no Microsoft stickers and many more dumb laws.
Like the law you've mentioned, its stupid. The problem with the gov't they never go after the source of the crimes. In order to prevent music piracy they fine the downloader not the provider. In order to protect the children they fine the ones who have images representing children instead of the molesters and rapists. As for the sticker on the laptop... Tis another dumb way to fight piracy and kill freedom. Some people like customizing their own computers, doing so gives them no stickers.
Point is, these laws are plain dumb. Perhaps the reason for it is, because the gov't themselves cause these very crimes.

The sticker proves that your laptop is using a legit Window's OS. My laptop has a sticker and the sticker got removed already. If they see me using this in public they'll confiscate it. And surely keep this for themselves. Then the anti-loli law, that is just crazy, also I saw an article about basing underaged people on chest size. So, if a guy is dating a girl with flat chest and they do something then someone catches them. The guy could be sued for pedophilia.
Either way, you're right, the gov't are the worst thieves we have. Too bad nobody could take them down. o__o

yes this world is crazy ahah even more now that you said that if a girl's chest is flat the guy can be in jail bcs pedophilia? thats crazy. there are grown up woman that dont have big boobs and that doesnt mean that they are children or teenagers yet. this is crazy really ahah this world as day pass has more and more crazy rules. thats too stupid really

At the end of the day it is still illegal and so one way or another she must pay for what she has done. The amount of money is excessive though.

but craigy everyone did that already. its not fair to pay all that. she shouldnt pay nothing. those singers are super rich is not bcs a few songs that are downloaded that they will be poor. they win a lot with their cds, with their music contracts and with their concerts and for go to tv shows. also those that go to host some program or start to make movies. isnt fair that this woman that has two daughters to raise has to pay all that money that for sure she doesnt have. even more when everyone does that.

yes cyrus really stupid people that just instead of be catching the really bad guys that exist in the world are catching people that do downloads. attention everyone everyone does downloads duhhh they are really so stupid they would have to put everyone in jail then. famous people just dont need to make downloads bcs they have enough money to buy all cds and dvds that they want to.

she had to pay bcs were albums i guess. for what i understood. but if she paid in itunes would be only 24 dollars and now they want her to pay all that. so her lawyers said that and the process was like post again some time later. and now she has to pay all that. but is too stupid bcs everyone already downloaded songs and movies online. no one can say i didnt unless doesnt know how to be in computers. but those that know at least one song downloaded already.

This is just awful. I cannot believe she gave away all that money. And that for just downloading 24 songs! It is a hell of a law, there are more intense crimes and the people should charge the uploaders, not who downloaded them.

thats a bit hard for 24 songs i have about 30000 i wonder how long i would be in jail and how much i would pay. but i don't care if i like the song i might buy it when i have money if i don't then i won't have wasted my money.
