Wow, how many kids you got? Children are something so sweet and good, but may be he can't afford caring for more than you both got for now. I think that you can tell him anytime, because it's not only you, but he was in the situation with making a baby, so you have to choose what to do together.

You might like to say that you were feeling quite unwell and worried about yourself. You thought it could have been something serious but luckily wasn't. Then you could say that you did a pregnancy test to put your mind at rest. Next you could mention that you were surprised to see it was positive. Lastly you could say that you are over the moon that your child is going to have a little baby brother or sister. You could say that the baby you are having is a lovely surprise and that you wasn't planed. Your child won't be an only child now. Good luck telling your spouse that you are pregnant.

Well if it's something he is not going to be happy about I am sorry for you. But I am sure once you start showing and it kicks and then you have it, things will be all a different story. Men are happy to reproduce no matter if they want to take care of more kids or not. A good way to tell him might be to bring out one of your other children's baby things and say, well we are going to be needing this again soon.
