There are a number of sites on the internet where you can write online, articles, short stories, and so on. One site where I have been writing reviews is "Review Stream". You can write brief reviews on a variety of topics, things you come across in your day-to-day activities, shopping, movies, travel, hotels, restaurants, and so on, and get paid once the review submitted is accepted.

I know a site, you can write any thing that interest you there. I liked it because my articles or stories can be easily searched once it is published. Also they pay through paypal every month. i would say e-zine articles,they are a bit high-brow but that's why they are the best.
