20 years ago, maybe the industry of Cards is at a boom! because we don't know much about emails, txts, and don't have much networking sites if there's any at that time. But now, technology have much invaded the industry by making it available online cards, could be sent through emails. We also have social networking sites that we would enable us to greet our friends and loved ones. But, i still stick sometimes to the traditional. I still buy cards, and give it to my friends and loved ones, and it amazes me, how much they appreciate it. Sometimes, it's good to actually give a card, HARD COPY! It's something worth keeping in a treasure box. What do you all think, lotters?

The price of stamps has gotten so high that people hate to spend the money on sending cards. But I love to send cards. I always send them on Christmas and on birthdays. I still send them to people when they lose a loved one or are celebrating a birth or graduation. I like getting cards myself, but I love sending them to people just as much. But I really wish they would lower the price of stamps. It's ridiculous.

Well yeah, it's one of the consideration though, if you send cards, along with it is the cost of stamp which are usually discouraging. haha :) Still, I chose to do it, send cards during birthdays and special occasions. It makes me smile every time I did it. hahaha :D

I still get cards and send cards, but mostly because they are from and to my older relatives. The one's that don't have computers. Yes, there are still people like that out there. Of course, imagining my eighty some year old grandfather trying to use a computer is the height of comedy, for reasons you would know if you met him. Anyway, getting back on track, I still do receive cards. And yeah it is nice to receive cards. Especially from my grandparents, because let's face it, its hard to tell how many more years they will actually have. They are getting on in age. Of course, when the older generations die, I really do think that actual paper cards will be something that will pretty much mostly go out of style. A shame but that's just the way its heading.

Yeah, I fear that would happen. I am an advocate of sending cards. I really do treasure cards I receive from my friends and my family. And I even put in my treasure box letters from my mom and my friends. hahaha Sounds silly, but I really do. hehehe :D

I still like receiving cards through the post and in person but i have noticed over the years we seem to receive less and less cards for all occasions throughout the year. Cards are still important to me though as i like keeping special occasion ones like 1st birthdays and anniversary cards.
